Project Year: 2020

THICK SKIN

THICK SKIN is an independent magazine about the human body and how it relates to art, politics, culture and identity. It looks into the human body as a medium, exploring how the inward can reflect on the outward and how society responds to that. This issue [Fringe Issue] untangles the symbolisms of hair.

I was exploring ways to further enhance the tactility of a magazine, so I made hairy papers and implemented them in this issue.

(This was part of a school project. All images in this magazine belong to their respective owners.)
