The Lungs Are Where We Store
Our Grief
Project Year: 2020
An illustration that was created during the first lockdown of COVID-19 period depicting the situation then. I was inspired by Josh Radnor‘s newsletter expressing his grief on the pandemic:
“In Chinese medicine it’s said that the lungs are where we store our grief. I can’t stop thinking about that given that life as we knew it has been ground to a halt by a virus which most notably attacks the respiratory system.”
This illustration was submitted to The Unusual Network as part of the Quaranzine.
